The origin of the cable knit lies in the uniforms worn by workers and fishermen on the Channel Islands in the mid-15th century. A work garment that, like so many others, has transcended history for its versatility, becoming an essential wardrobe staple. Unequivocal proof that well-made garments endure over time, even more than five centuries later.
